About me as an Illustrator.
I am currently studying at Loughborough University studying (BA Hons) Illustration with Animation looking for a potential pathway into an illustrative career. The course has enabled me to be more critically aware in visual communication and illustration and has aided me as a whole into becoming a better illustrator, designer, animator and concept artist.
My first choice of media is digital painting however I also to work with traditional media or even handcraft, such as my own small plushie concept “Nergui-toiz" that I hope to launch as a small business over the coming summer. My work mainly revolves in character design and this small project has really come to life in light of that. Overall I provide a variety of skills that will enable me to approach design briefs with a wide skill set at hand.I like trying different styles and learning new things. My work varies from traditional such as painting and handcrafting to digital mediums also.
My skills are versatile which means I can offer many outcomes to the desired specification on requirement. Whist studying the Students Union commissioned me to work for Label magazine this has given me a feel for editorial and professional practice. This practice helped me bring about a new style of working specifically for editorial work and has worked its way into my course also.
